A FREE distance learning course that provides teachers and parents with the latest research-based principles and practices for providing children birth through age five a strong foundation in early reading and writing with a developmentally appropriate approach. A national faculty team of leading experts in early literacy designed the course. The course consists of 30 clock hours of classroom instruction, delivered live, via the HeadsUp! Network, an interactive satellite network. Participants can earn college credits, CEU's, CDA Content hours, and DCFS in-service hours.
