The program focuses on monetary awards for eligible child assistants care teachers; directors and family child care providers who have met more than the minimum qualifications required by DCFS licensing standards. Child Care Professionals who have one year of continuous service to children at the same place of employment and have exceeded the minimum DCFS licensing standards for education are eligible for these semi-annual bonuses. Bonuses are not automatically distributed but must be applied for by child care professionals who meet specific program requirements.
